Chen Wei is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Rice University (starting Fall 2025) and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Meta AI's FAIR division. She holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins University (2024) and a B.Sc. from Peking University (2019). Her research focuses on advancing visual intelligence through generative AI, multimodal learning, and self-supervised learning. She has been recognized with awards such as EECS Rising Stars (2023) and Most Influential CVPR Papers (2023).
