Chen Chen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Center for Research in Computer Vision (CRCV) at the University of Central Florida (UCF), part of the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas (2016) and has prior roles including Assistant Professor at UNC Charlotte and Postdoctoral Researcher at UCF. His research focuses on Computer Vision, Generative AI, Medical Image Computing, and Federated Learning, with applications in healthcare, geospatial analysis, and robotics. Key roles include Associate Editorships for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and leadership in workshops at CVPR and WACV.
