Chelsie McCorkle

Chelsie McCorkle is an Assistant Professor of English and Writing Center Director at the University of Saint Francis. She specializes in inclusive pedagogy through Open Educational Resources (OER) and was honored with the PALSave Open Educator Award by PALNI in 2022. Her teaching emphasizes student accessibility and interactive learning, bridging classroom and real-world applications.

As a member of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), she advocates for language’s role in shaping personal and public narratives. She actively organizes Voices of Feminism at USF and judges the Northeast Indiana/Northwest Ohio Regional Scholastic Writing Awards. Her research interests include Writing Center Studies, Composition, Language and Identity, and Feminist Literature.
