Chelsea J. King is an Assistant Professor of Catholic Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Sacred Heart University. Holding a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from the University of Notre Dame, her research bridges Theology and Science, focusing on the implications of evolutionary theory on doctrines of original sin and salvation, as well as feminist theological perspectives on sacrifice.

- Integrating René Girard's mimetic theory with feminist theology
- Post-Darwinian reevaluation of theological concepts
- Apophatic theology and its historical applications
- Redefining sacrificial language for contemporary Catholic women
- Interdisciplinary dialogue between theology, science, and ethics
