Chaya Jayathileka

Chaya Jayathileka is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at the University of Sussex Business School, specializing in Social and Environmental Accounting. She joined Sussex in June 2023 after teaching roles at St Mary's University, Bath Spa University, and the University of Glasgow. Her PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow (2023) focused on health accountability for female Sri Lankan tea plantation workers.
