Chauncey Monte-Sano is a Professor in the Educational Studies department at the University of Michigan's Marsal Family School of Education. She specializes in social studies education, focusing on disciplinary thinking, argument writing, and equity in history/social science classrooms. Her work involves developing curriculum materials and professional development models like Read.Inquire.Write. and Learning Labs for Social Studies.
