Chase J Shyu

Chase J Shyu is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Geophysics, Jackson School of Geosciences, The University of Texas at Austin. His work focuses on geodynamic and tectonic processes, particularly through numerical modeling of sedimentary basins and crustal rifting. Key contributions include advancing the DynEarthSol (DES) code with sediment accumulation functions, depth-dependent sedimentation, and GPU parallelization.
