Dr. Charné Theron is affiliated with the Climate Adaptation Research Centre for Built Environment – NoorderRuimte at the University of Groningen. Her work focuses on climate resilience, water resource management, and sustainable development. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering (2023), a Master’s in Environmental Science (2015), and degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering (2000–2008). With over 25 years of professional experience in project and construction management, she bridges academic research with practical engineering solutions.
