معرفی
Charlotte Lund Denholt serves as a Guest Researcher at the Department of Biomedical Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Her work is centered at the Cluster for Molecular Imaging (CMI), located at Blegdamsvej 3B in Copenhagen. She maintains active research collaborations across nuclear medicine and molecular imaging disciplines.
Her research focuses on advanced molecular imaging techniques, particularly in PET radiochemistry and hyperpolarized MRI applications. Key interests include radiopharmaceutical development for oncology applications, optimization of PET imaging protocols, and translation of novel imaging agents to clinical settings. Her work bridges radiochemistry, physics, and clinical oncology to improve diagnostic precision.
Analysis of her three recent publications reveals a strong emphasis on innovative imaging methodologies. The 2025 hyperPET study demonstrates integration of hyperpolarized carbon-13 MRI with traditional PET, while the 2023 neuroblastoma study highlights pediatric imaging advancements using long axial field-of-view technology. The 2021 radiochemistry paper establishes robust GMP-compliant synthesis protocols for dopamine transporter imaging agents.
Her research is conducted within the Cluster for Molecular Imaging, a multidisciplinary research environment at the University of Copenhagen that combines physics, chemistry, and clinical expertise to advance molecular imaging technologies. The CMI provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for radiopharmaceutical development and preclinical/clinical imaging studies.
