Charlotte Earl-Sinha serves as the Faculty Academic Support Lead (FASL) for the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sunderland. She joined the University in 2012 as a Teacher Practitioner for Well Pharmacy and held the position of Admissions Tutor and Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice for MPharm from 2015 until transitioning to her current FASL role in September 2023.
Her research focuses on critical areas of pharmaceutical practice:
- Community Pharmacy operations and services
- Pharmacy Practice methodologies
- Pharmacist roles in patient support for specific medical conditions
- Legal and ethical considerations in pharmacy
Though no longer teaching full-time in her current administrative capacity, she remains actively involved in delivering specialized Pharmacy Practice instruction, particularly in Law and Ethics and simulated pharmacy sessions for both the MPharm program and the Pharmaceutical Sciences component of the Overseas Pharmacist Assessment Programme.
Charlotte qualified as a Pharmacist in 2002 after completing her studies at RGU (Aberdeen) in 2001. Prior to her academic career, she gained extensive practical experience working in community pharmacy and primary care settings.
