Charlotte Arend

Charlotte Arend, M.Sc., is a Scientific Associate at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy within the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Bamberg. Her research focuses on clinical psychology topics including internet usage disorders, computer gaming disorder, shopping disorder, and addiction mechanisms in obesity.

Current projects she is involved in include:

• RP2: Reduction of reward value in computer gaming disorder and shopping disorder – Psychological mechanisms and proof-of-concept study (funded by the German Research Foundation)
