Research interests include the emotional dimensions of political behavior, post-crash value production, and systemic critiques of mainstream economics. He critiques the representation of small businesses in political discourse and explores omitted societal elements like care work and seaside economies. His recent work interrogates how subjective identities shape political economies, particularly through themes of touch, desire, and value.
