Charlie Clarke

Charlie Clarke is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management at the Poole College of Management, North Carolina State University. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on investments, empirical asset pricing, macro finance, and factor models. Clarke holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Texas, Austin, and a B.A. in Economics from the College of William and Mary.

His notable work includes the 2015 Best Paper Award in Investments from the Financial Management Association for his publication in the Journal of Financial Economics. His research explores factor models and macroeconomic influences on financial markets.
