Charles W. (Chip) Ransler IV serves as Executive Director of HackCville, a nonprofit entrepreneurial talent accelerator in Charlottesville, Virginia, and lectures at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. He co-teaches the entrepreneurial capstone class and leads strategy efforts while instructing startup techniques and digital marketing to high-potential UVA undergraduates.

Since joining HackCville in 2016, Ransler has overseen its expansion from 75 students across three programs to over 500 students enrolled in 10 programs annually. His expertise spans entrepreneurship, strategy, fundraising, and digital marketing.
Ransler's research and teaching interests intersect with Strategy, Ethics & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Technology and Operations Management, and Data Analytics, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to innovation and business education.
He resides in Charlottesville with his wife, Madeleine, and son, Hawks.
