Charles Udomsaph is a Teaching Professor at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he teaches the econometrics sequence for the Global Human Development Program. He has been affiliated with the World Bank since 2003, contributing to projects across Africa, Latin America & Caribbean, and South Asia Regions, including data collection in Cameroon and enterprise surveys in Southeast Asia. His research focuses on private sector development in transition economies, particularly the quantitative assessment of business environments in Eastern Europe and their impact on job creation and firm productivity.
Dr. Udomsaph holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a dual BSFS/MSFS degree from Georgetown University. His work bridges academic and policy realms, emphasizing empirical methods to address development challenges.
