Charles SOUSSEN is a Professor at CentraleSupélec and L2S (Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes). He holds a PhD from Université Paris-Sud (2000) and a Habilitation from Université de Lorraine (2013). His research focuses on inverse problems, sparse approximation, signal processing, and biomedical applications. He leads the Signals and Statistics Pole at L2S since 2020 and has coordinated the French ANR project BECOSE (2016–2020). His work spans areas like hyperspectral imaging, optical spectroscopy, and algorithm development for sparse representations.
