Charles Eaton

Professor Charles Eaton is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Manchester's School of Mathematics, specializing in the Pure Mathematics department. His research focuses on modular representation theory of finite groups, particularly Donovan's conjecture and the classification of Morita equivalence classes of blocks. His work with Kessar, Külshammer, and Sambale has advanced understanding of Donovan's conjecture for 2-blocks with elementary abelian defect groups.
