Charlene M. Smith

Charlene M. Smith is a Part-Time Lecturer at Wegmans School of Nursing, St. John Fisher University. A Fellow of the Academy of Nursing Education and board-certified in nursing professional development, she has 40+ years of nursing experience including roles at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Smith co-edited 'Leadership in Nursing Professional Development' and contributes to Core Curriculum textbooks. She teaches across nursing programs and researches educational design, competency assessment, and online pedagogy. Her awards include the SJF Distinguished Scholarly Achievement Award and Szarejko Information Literacy Award.
