Chao Xu

Dr. Chao Xu is a Senior Lecturer at the Next Generation Wireless Research Group within the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering at the University of Southampton. His work bridges cutting-edge wireless communication technologies with quantum security and machine learning advancements.

His research spans space-air-ground integrated networks (SAGINs), reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), and quantum key distribution (QKD). Key projects include holographic MIMO systems and OTFS modulation for THz channels, emphasizing integrated sensing and communication frameworks.
