Changliu Liu

Changliu Liu is an Associate Professor at the Robotics Institute, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where she leads the Intelligent Control Lab. Prior to joining CMU in 2019, she was a postdoc at Stanford Intelligent Systems Laboratory. Her research focuses on human-centered intelligent systems with applications in manufacturing and transportation, emphasizing safety and coordination in human-robot environments.

Her work spans microscopic design of robot behavior systems and macroscopic analysis of human-robot systems, including manufacturing robotics, multi-robot coordination, and intelligent transportation. She co-founded Instinct Robotics and the International Neural Network Verification Competition.
