Changjiang Liu

Changjiang Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University at Buffalo, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on synthesizing quantum materials using molecular beam epitaxy to study emergent phenomena at material interfaces, including superconductivity, spintronics, and anisotropic transport. He holds a BS from Nanjing University (2007), and MS and PhD from the University of Minnesota (2012, 2016).

Research Interests: His work explores interface-driven physics in oxide heterostructures, with emphasis on precision synthesis, structural characterization, and device fabrication. Key areas include superconductivity modulation via interface engineering, electric field control of magnon spin currents, and quantum materials for applications in quantum information science.
