معرفی
Dr. Chang-Hwan Choi is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, specializing in micro/nano manufacturing, surface engineering, and interfacial phenomena. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, with previous positions including Assistant to Associate Professor at Stevens and visiting professorships at Max Planck Institute, EPFL, and TU Darmstadt.
His research develops scalable nanofabrication techniques for functional surfaces, with applications in anti-corrosion, anti-icing, energy harvesting and biomaterials. Current projects explore oil-impregnated nanoporous coatings, additive manufacturing optimization, and thermal management systems using nanostructured interfaces.
Research publications demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches combining nanotechnology with thermal/fluid dynamics, featuring innovations in interference lithography, superhydrophobic surfaces, and biomimetic materials design.
