Dr. Chandler Padgett serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Columbus State University (CSU), where he teaches in both Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing Programs. A Columbus, Georgia native and CSU double alumnus, he concurrently balanced full-time teaching with part-time clinical practice while earning his DNP from Georgia State University in 2022.
His educational credentials include:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from CSU (2016)
- Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) from CSU (2019)
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Georgia State University (2022)
Dr. Padgett's research examines medication administration errors among new graduate nurses, focusing on clinical safety protocols and educational interventions. This work bridges nursing education with real-world practice challenges, particularly during professional transitions.
