Chandan Reddy is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington, Seattle, with primary appointments in the Departments of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies and Comparative History of Ideas. He is affiliated with the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and the Center for Human Rights.

Reddy’s research intersects critical race theory, queer theory, and political economy. His work interrogates state violence, neoliberalism, and marginalized communities, including queer, Indigenous, and immigrant populations. He is a founding scholar in the field of Queer of Color Critique.
His recent publications focus on neoliberalism’s impact on race and sexuality, queer Indigenous kinship, and critiques of capitalism. These works often employ interdisciplinary frameworks from gender studies, postcolonial theory, and cultural studies.
