Chan Cheah

Chan Cheah is a Clinical Professor at the UWA Medical School and a Consultant Haematologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Linear Clinical Research, and Hollywood Private Hospital. He completed his MBBS at the University of Western Australia (2003) and a Doctor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne (2014).

His research focuses on improving outcomes for lymphoma patients through novel drug therapies. Recent work explores mantle cell lymphoma, CAR T-cell therapy, and chemoimmunotherapy combinations, particularly in relapsed/refractory cases and central nervous system lymphomas.

Prof Cheah leads Blood Cancer Research WA and has secured over $15 million in competitive grants, including NHMRC and Medical Research Future Fund projects. His clinical trials program emphasizes translational research and precision medicine.
