Professor Chakravarthi Rajkumar holds the Chair (Honorary Consultant) in Elderly Care at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), University of Sussex. He is affiliated with the Clinical and Experimental Medicine department and has been active since 2005. His research focuses on geriatric medicine, stroke, hypertension, vascular aging, and frailty, with over 400 publications and an H-index of 49. He has received funding from NIHR, BHF, and Dunhill Medical Trust for projects like HYVET 2 feasibility studies and medication harm reduction tools.
