Chad Bennett is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Texas at Austin's College of Liberal Arts. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Cornell University, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and a B.A. in English from Stanford University. His office is located in PAR 319 (mail code: B5000), with office hours on Thursdays.
His research focuses on:
- Modern American literature and cultural studies
- Poetic theory and creative writing
- Queer theory and gender/sexuality
- Film and media analysis
He has authored scholarly and creative works, including a poetry collection recognized with the Kathryn A. Morton Prize.
