Cezary Kalita

Dr. Cezary Kalita is a professor at the University of Siedlce, authoring monographs including Community versus Society (2018) and The Idea of Freedom (2007), co-authoring academic textbooks, and editing collective works such as War – Ethics – Culture (2019) and Social Sciences and the Problem of Security (2016). He serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Doctrina. Studia Społeczno-Polityczne, Chairman of the Siedlce branch of the Polish Philosophical Society (and Main Board member), and is affiliated with the Siedlce Scientific Society and Mensa Polska Association.

His research spans security philosophy, information philosophy, social and political philosophy, theory of state and society, and sociology of knowledge, with concentrated focus on community-society dynamics, exclusion mechanisms, axiology of socio-political processes, and information-communication roles in security management. Additional interests include security and education, social science methodology, and safety-contextualized aesthetics and ethics.
