Cezar Giosan

Dr. Cezar Giosan is an Associate Professor at the University of Bucharest's Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, with adjunct roles at Union Commonwealth University. His research integrates evolutionary psychology, cognitive therapy for depression, and virtual reality applications in psychotherapy. He directs the Center for Applied Psychology and mentors doctoral candidates in clinical and developmental psychology.

Current projects include randomized trials on adolescent mental health literacy and cross-cultural validation of psychological scales. He coordinates international collaborations on warzone trauma interventions.

Doctoral Advisees: Actively supervises 11 PhD candidates researching topics from intimate partner violence to social media's psychological impact.
