His research spans Development Economics, Labour Markets, Migration, and Political Economy. Key themes include the impact of corruption exposure on political trust, remote work dynamics, refugee integration, and economic choices influenced by social framing. His work often intersects with policy analysis, particularly in international development and labor economics.
Recent publications focus on remote work and productivity, misperceptions under authoritarianism, refugee immigration effects on fertility, and corruption’s role in immigrant political trust. These studies employ interdisciplinary approaches, blending economics with behavioral science, sociology, and public policy.
