Cesar Sanchez serves as the Director of Eccles Global Initiatives and an Adjunct Instructor at the Eccles School of Business, University of Utah. A globally experienced professional, he has lived in Chile, Italy, South Korea, the United States, Brazil, and France while conducting business across more than 12 countries.
His educational background includes:
- M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Utah
- Undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho
Sanchez's research centers on entrepreneurship and international expansion of startups, with expertise spanning corporate venturing, sustainable mobility, and EdTech innovation. His professional work includes founding Enel's Energy Start program for 200+ million clients across 35 countries, pioneering South America's first electric bus fleets in Chile (now exceeding 1,000 vehicles in Santiago), and creating the League of Tutors EdTech platform connecting hundreds of tutors nationwide. He represents the Extreme Tech Challenge for Latin America and consults for governments on diaspora entrepreneurship and sustainable development goals.
As an Adjunct Instructor, he integrates real-world global business experience into academic instruction, emphasizing practical applications of entrepreneurial theory and international market dynamics.
