Ceren Baysan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on political economy, development economics, and behavioral economics with a particular emphasis on issues such as democratic institutions under authoritarianism, social cohesion in ethnically diverse settings, and the impact of environmental factors on societal outcomes.
