Res. Asst. Dr. Cengiz YOLCU is affiliated with İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi as a Researcher. His academic journey includes a B.A. from İstanbul Üniversitesi (2009), M.A. from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi (2014), and Ph.D. from İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi (2024).
Research focuses on Ottoman propaganda mechanisms in Balkan conflicts, socio-political discourses of Ottoman intellectuals during the decline period, and nationalist narratives in early 20th-century Anatolia. His work critically examines how state institutions used media to manipulate public perception during crises.
Key publications analyze Balkan Wars propaganda, Ottoman socialist critiques of imperialism, and geopolitical symbolism in imperial architecture. Current research appears concentrated on interwar period intellectual movements and Ottoman Empire's cultural warfare strategies.
