Celia Cabaleiro Lago

Celia Cabaleiro Lago is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Bioanalysis at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Kristianstad University (HKR). She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Vigo, Spain, and maintains an active research profile with 36 publications and an h-index of 19 according to Scopus data.

Her research expertise centers on colloidal systems including micelles, liposomes, and nanoparticles, with specific focus on how these systems interact with and affect chemical reactions and biomolecules. Ongoing work maps external factors influencing protein adsorption on plastic nanomaterials and contributes to cancer cell culture model development.
