Prof. Dr. Celal Yasar is a Professor of Electrical-Electronics Engineering at Dumlupınar University's Faculty of Engineering since 2020. He previously held roles as Associate Professor (2014–2020) and Assistant Professor (2001–2014). He has served as Vice Dean twice (2005–2010 and 2017–2020) and Vocational School Director (1995–1997). His education includes a PhD in Electrical-Electronic Engineering from Eskişehir Osmangazi University (1999), a Master's from Anadolu University (1988), and a Bachelor's from Istanbul Technical University (1980).
Research focuses on optimization algorithms applied to electrical energy systems, including power distribution, hydrothermal scheduling, and smart grid technologies.
