Cedric Langbort

Cedric Langbort is a Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (since 2020) and a Research Associate Professor at the Information Trust Institute and Coordinated Science Laboratory (since 2012). His research focuses on control theory, distributed systems, cyber-physical systems, and algorithm fairness, with applications to air-traffic control, multi-agent systems, and cyber-security. He has contributed to convex optimization methods, secure control, and strategic information transmission.

Research Highlights:

• Developed iterative algorithms for updating security strategies in matrix games with growing action sets.
• Investigated controller-jammer games for Denial-of-Service attacks.
