Cecilio Angulo Bahón

Cecilio Angulo Bahón is a full Professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), affiliated with the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) and the Department of Systems, Automatics and Industrial Informatics Engineering. He leads research in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, with significant contributions to healthcare data analytics, digital twins, and human-robot collaboration.

His research spans machine learning for medical data harmonization, generative adversarial networks in health informatics, and evolutionary algorithms for control systems. Recent publications focus on synthetic healthcare data generation, climate-resilient agriculture, and UMAP-based data analysis.
