Cecile HENQUELL

Cecile HENQUELL is a permanent researcher at the Université Clermont Auvergne, affiliated with the UFR of Medicine and Paramedical Professions. Her work focuses on virology, infectious diseases, and reproductive medicine, particularly in the context of viral outbreaks and fertility preservation during pandemics.

Her recent research examines the re-emergence of coxsackievirus A24 in the South West Indian Ocean (2025), enterovirus circulation in Europe (2025), and the impact of SARS-CoV-2 inflammation on sperm parameters in oncofertility patients (2024). These studies highlight her expertise in viral epidemiology, clinical surveillance, and cross-disciplinary applications in reproductive health.
