Cato Tandberg

Cato Tandberg is an Associate Professor at the University of Inland Norway, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy and the Department of Mathematics, Science and Physical Education. His research focuses on representations in science, language integration in science education, and practical science approaches to enhance student understanding. He emphasizes teacher training to foster creativity and play-based methods in both school and early childhood education settings.

Key projects include SciTalk and TAPPEO, which explore plurilingual preschool development and quality improvement in ECEC through tools like ITERS and ECERS. He co-leads the Future-Oriented Education in Science and Physical Education (FUNK) research group.
