Cathy Feller is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Colorado Mesa University, teaching at both the Montrose and Grand Junction campuses. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Brandeis University. Feller has been teaching full-time in the LPN to RN program since 2008 and maintains clinical practice in Critical Care at St. Mary's Hospital.

Her teaching and research interests focus on Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, and clinical education, reflecting her 24 years of nursing experience and 20 years in critical care. She actively contributes to bridging theoretical knowledge with clinical practice in her courses, including Pharmacology and Advanced Medical Surgical Clinicals.
Feller’s career combines academic leadership with hands-on clinical expertise, emphasizing patient care in high-acuity settings. Outside academia, she enjoys skiing, travel, and family time with her husband and two daughters.
