Professor Catherine Stalin is a faculty member in the Small Animal Clinical Sciences department at the University of Glasgow. Her academic role combines clinical practice with research focused on neurological diseases in companion animals, particularly dogs and cats. She leads studies on brain disorders, epilepsy management, and vertebral anomalies in brachycephalic breeds.
Research Interests: Professor Stalin's work addresses clinical needs in veterinary medicine, including treatment strategies for brain tumors, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative conditions. Her research extends to educational innovations, such as optimizing clinical learning environments for veterinary students through initiatives like the Learning Environment Champions Scheme.
