Catherine Main

Catherine Main serves as Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology and Director of Early Childhood Education at the University of Illinois Chicago's College of Education, with additional affiliation as a visiting scholar with the Institute of Government and Public Affairs. With over 30 years of experience in Illinois early childhood systems, she pioneered the first Blended Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education program and Early Childhood Alternative Licensure program approved by the Illinois State Board of Education.
