Catherine Judd

Catherine Judd is Professor of English at the University of Miami, specializing in Victorian literature and 19th century cultural studies. Her scholarship examines representations of the Great Irish Famine, travel narratives of the American West, and colonial encounters in the Great Plains and Utah Territory during the settlement era.

Her research integrates literary analysis with historical contextualization of settler colonialism, frontier expansion, and cultural exchange in Nebraska and Utah territories.
