Catherine Hudson

Catherine Hudson is a Lecturer in the Department of Fashion at the University of East London's School of Arts and Creative Industries. Her teaching responsibilities include:

Hudson's research investigates Caribbean diasporic selfhood displacement through deconstruction of domestic and vernacular photography documenting British lived experience. She examines cultural heritage conflicts with UK belonging 'in-place', creating practice-driven 3D prototypes outside traditional fashion frameworks to amplify marginalized narrative perspectives through interdisciplinary visual methodologies.
