Catherine Gaffney is an Adjunct Professor in the Communication Arts department at Asbury University. She holds an M.F.A. in Acting and Directing from Regent University and a B.A. in Theatre from San Francisco State University. With over 30 years of professional stage acting experience, her roles include iconic performances in plays such as Our Town (Mrs. Gibbs), The Lady With All The Answers (Ann Landers/Eppie Lederer), and Holes (The Warden). She is also a voice over talent and film actress, appearing in Can I Get A Witness Protection? on Amazon Prime.
Her career highlights include collaborations with theaters such as Taproot Theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre, and Lexington Children’s Theatre. Professional affiliations include membership in Christians in Theatre Arts, Southeastern Theatre Conference, and the Kentucky Theatre Association. She is an Equity Membership Candidate and former SAG-AFTRA member.
