Professeur Catherine Dubois is a full Professor at Telecom SudParis and a member of the SAMOVAR laboratory. She specializes in formal methods, programming languages, and software verification. Her work focuses on foundational aspects of type systems, proof assistants (e.g., Coq, Why3), and certified software development. She has contributed to the design and verification of the FoCaLiZe environment and has published extensively on topics like formal proof interoperability, constraint solving, and verification of complex systems.
She holds a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from Université d'Evry and has taught courses in functional programming, formal methods, and software verification at ENSIIE. Her research spans theoretical contributions to formal systems and practical applications in software engineering, including work on aviation security standards and urban design tools.
Dr. Dubois has organized multiple international conferences (e.g., TAP, PxTP, F-IDE) and serves on program committees for venues like ITP and SEFM. She has authored/co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and led collaborative projects involving industry and academic partners.
