Caslon Chua

Assoc Prof Caslon Chua is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Computing Technologies at the School of Science, Computing and Emerging Technologies, Swinburne University. He specializes in software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and human-centered computing. His research focuses on federated learning, cybersecurity, medical imaging, education technology, and sustainable energy systems. Prof Chua has led numerous grants, including projects on CTF-based cybersecurity platforms, smart energy systems, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. He actively supervises doctoral and master’s students in areas like AI ethics, medical diagnostics, and smart energy.
