Professor Carsten Welsch is a leading physicist in accelerator science and technology at the University of Liverpool. He founded the QUASAR Group in 2008 and served as Head of the Physics Department from 2016 to 2023. His work bridges cutting-edge research in antimatter physics, beam diagnostics, and innovative accelerator design with strategic leadership in education and international collaboration.
