Carsten Müller

Dr. Carsten Müller serves as Scientific Coordinator for the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1349 "Fluorine-Specific Interactions: Fundamentals and Applications" at the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Free University of Berlin. He manages the CRC's scientific operations and coordinates its research initiatives.

His work centers on fluorine chemistry and inorganic chemical interactions, exploring fundamental properties and applications of fluorine in materials science. The CRC 1349, funded by the German Research Foundation, integrates interdisciplinary approaches to advance fluorine-specific research.

Dr. Müller actively organizes CRC events, including the upcoming 3rd Fluorine Sommer School and Conference (October 6-9, 2025, at Campus Dahlem), and supports the Integrated Research Training Group (MGK) for early-career researchers.
