Carsten Dam-Hansen

Carsten Dam-Hansen is a Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark's Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering. He serves as the Danish expert member of the International Energy Agency's Smart Sustainability in Lighting and Controls Platform, advising on energy-efficient LED technologies. His research focuses on advanced lighting systems, including laser-based lighting and metrology.

Research spans light source engineering, energy conservation, and thermal management in optical materials. Recent work explores phosphor film optimization, flicker measurement standardization, and laser lighting efficiency.
